La Palina Classic Original Cigars

La Palina Cigars got its start in 1896 when Sam Paley, an immigrant from Ukraine, started his Congress Cigar Company in Chicago. His first cigar was La Palina in honor of his wife Goldie. Sam's son William came into the business and in 1910 and the factory moved to Philadelphia until it closed in 1926. William went on to start Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS). Fast forward to 2010 and William's son Bill resurrected the La Palina line and the rest is history. La Palina Classic features a Brazilian-grown habano seed wrapper,
Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan long filler to create a medium bodied complex cigar with earthy tones and a hint of sweetness and spice.
