With the Diamond Crown, Newman set out to create the smoothest, most flavorful, full-bodied cigar possible and he succeeded. With filler tobaccos and a binder from the Dominican Republic and a specially twice-fermented, five-year old Connecticut Fermented wrapper, the Diamond Crown cigars offer a creamy and toasty delicacy. It is this "second curing" that creates the rosado color of the wrapper. |
